Explore the city’s Colonial History. Nuwara Eliya is full of colonial buildings such as the famous Post Office which is housed in an 1894 Tudo Manor.

Visit Sitha Amman Kovil. This is the only Seetha Amman kovil in the world and is built according to South Indian architecture. Legend has it that Seetha was held captive and hidden in this spot by king Rama to protect her from the demon king Ravana according to the Epic Ramayana.

Next Proceed towards Hakgala Botanical Gardens, which is home to various wildlife, including bears, monkeys, and birds.

Next transfer to Ella site visit.

Ella A quaint little town enclosed by the refreshing greens of tea plantations, Ella in Sri Lanka is a beautiful paradise that offers stunning mountain hikes, and lovely waterfalls. With picture-perfect environs, a pleasant climate.

Walk along the Nin Arch Bridge - Nine Arch Bridge which happens to be one of the best places to visit in Ella. Walk through the woods for 30 minutes to reach a piece of beautiful architecture hidden between lush green tea fields and get a drink up in the hills at one of the cafes while you wait to wave at the passing train. The views are worth it!

Visit the famous Ravana Waterfall. It is one of the main waterfalls to see in Ella that is located just 10 minutes from the city center. While the views are breathtaking indeed, it is a perfect spot to enjoy some quality time with friends and family.

Head towards Madhu River to enjoy a boat ride along the islets forested with a rich profusion of mangrove trees, exotic varieties of birds, etc., and come across more than one hundred eleven species of birds in their natural habitat.

Then visit Kosgoda turtle farm, turtles are a protected species in Sri Lanka, where we can find 5 of the 8 varieties of tortoise in the world. On the south coast of the country, it is easy to see them appear on the beach at night to spawn. Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery is a farm created to preserve this endangered species. The eggs are collected and quickly reburied in the sand to protect them from birds, crabs, and humans. It also takes care of the turtles until their navel is closed and they are returned to the sea.
